Original passage:
A museum that adds digital reproductions of its collection may reach viewers who cannot travel to the building. This wider access, however, does not make the physical museum irrelevant. The experience of moving through a curated space, noticing scale, and comparing works in the same room can produce forms of attention that a screen does not replicate. Digital access should therefore be understood as an extension of the museum’s public role, not as a complete substitute for visiting it.
